Edible Monterey Bay is excited to invite you to a very special farm-to-table dinner that we’ll sponsor in Monterey on Friday, Oct. 18.

The dinner will kick off the all-new Monterey Eco Home & Garden Expo, which will offer a weekend of shopping, seminars, ideas and innovative advice for making your life a little greener and your home and garden more beautiful and sustainable.

Why is this event not to be missed? Mundaka’s highly creative chef, Brandon Miller, will prepare the organic meal from locally foraged delicacies and locally raised produce and meats from growers including Serendipity Farms. The Expo Farm Dinner will also feature live music, a silent auction and the award-winning wines of Carmel Valley’s Heller Estate Organic Vineyards. Conveniently, the dinner will be held an oak-studded area of the Monterey Fairgrounds, overlooking the adjacent golf course.

Tickets for all of this are $75, and proceeds will benefit Hope Center Monterey, an all volunteer-staffed nonprofit food pantry. The Hope Center provides critical supplemental groceries to 300 Monterey Peninsula residents and 150 pets as well as a safe environment for children and adults to volunteer to help the neighbors who need them most.

We expect this event to sell out, so we recommend you buy tickets now—and invite some friends along, too! To buy tickets click here or click on the button below!

At Edible Monterey Bay, our mission is to celebrate the local food culture of Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey Counties, season by season. We believe in sustainability, and we believe everyone has a right to healthful, clean and affordable food. We think knowing where our food comes from is powerful, and we hope our magazine, website and newsletters inspire readers to get to know and support our local growers, fishers, chefs, vintners and food artisans.
