All-Star Lineup for Pebble Beach Food & Wine

February 13, 2018 – An exciting lineup of star chefs and culinary events has just been announced for the 11th annual Pebble Beach Food & Wine festival happening April 5-8. Among the headliners is Jeremiah Tower, a legendary chef from Chez Panisse, Stars and Tavern on the Green, and subject of the documentary Last of the Great Magnificents. Also heading to Pebble Beach are French culinary master Daniel Boulud, Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli. Kyle Connaughton of Single Thread Farms and Roy Yamaguchi of Roy’s Pacific Rim Kitchen. 

A total of 100 chefs and 250 wineries are taking part in this year’s festivities, putting on an array of 47 seminars, cooking demos, gourmet meals and the popular Lexus Grand Tasting events on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Tickets are currently available on pre-sale to premium MasterCard customers and will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 16.

Among the new events this year is the Coastal Grillin’ dinner on Friday, April 6, featuring some well-known local chefs like John Cox, Mathew Beaudin, Matt Bolton and Jerry Regester, along with east coast and Texas BBQ talent. Owner-chef Emanuele Bartolini of La Balena in Carmel and chef Angela Tamura of Pèppoli are part of a special Italian luncheon that same day called Fatto a Mano.

Other local culinary talent tapped for this extraordinary annual event include: Tony Baker of Montrio Bistro, Brad Briske of Home, Justin Cogley of Aubergine, Eduardo Coronel of Rio Grill, Paul Corsentino of Ventana Big Sir, Michelle Estigoy of Cultura-comida y bebida, Todd Fisher of Folktale Winery, Brian Kearns of Edgar’s at Quail Lodge, Michelle Lee of the C Restaurant, Obdiel Luna of La Bicyclette, Pablo Mellin of Roy’s, Colin Moody of MPCC, Soerke Peters of Lafayette Kitchen, Justin Robarge of Cannery Row Brewing, Fabrice Roux of Roux, Cal Stamenov of Lucia at Bernardus Lodge, Kent Torrey of The Cheese Shop and Tim Wood of Carmel Valley Ranch.
