Whisky Club Manhattan

The Whisky Club Manhattan is one of three Manhattans on the menu at the Whisky Club. The Russell’s gives it a sublime foundational smoothness, the interplay of two bitters lends complexity and classic Carpano vermouth rounds out commendable balance.

2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 dash Stirrings Blood Orange Bitters
1 ounce Carpano Antica Formula vermouth
2 ounces Russell’s Reserve bourbon
1 citrus peel
1 maraschino cherry

Combine ingredients with ice in a mixing cup. Stir for 25 seconds. Pour into a stemmed glass. Rub orange or lemon peel on rim, wrap peel around maraschino cherry and spear with a toothpick. Makes 1 cocktail.
