For those who haven’t yet had a chance to try Home, the Soquel release party will be a real treat. Chef Brad Briske—formerly of La Balena in Carmel—has created his own welcoming space with a cozy family feel. The party takes place from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, December 12. Complimentary small bites will be available from Home’s delicious menu, with local wines, beers and sparklers for sale. On Friday, December 16 in Pacific Grove, Jordan and Todd Champagne of Happy Girl Kitchen are pulling out all the stops. Come by to pick up a copy of our fresh winter issue from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Enjoy live music and complimentary goodies like crostini, cheese, quince membrillo and HGK pickles. There will be local wines for sale and very special Bloody Marys made with farm-fresh locally grown tomatoes.
