Where to Dine for Easter

March 31, 2021 – s the pandemic lingers, Easter 2021 will feature a mix of indoor, outdoor and takeout dining options, click on the name of the restaurant to see menus. 

Estéban in downtown Monterey has special Easter Brunch that includes their famous “brunch in a glass” Bloody Mary. 

Lucia at Bernardus Lodge brings back its Easter buffet (served by staff) including a grand seafood display and prime rib. Edgar’s at Quail Lodgeoffers an a la carte Easter Brunch on its patio with crab cakes, stuffed French toast and more.

Enjoy an al fresco Easter lunch at Tarpy’s Roadhouse that includes options like whiskey custard French toast and grilled halibut or at its sister restaurant Rio Grill sample huevos rancheros, asparagus Benedict and Meyer lemon pancakes.

In Carmel, Basil Seasonal Dining offers all day dining indoors and outdoors with Italian specials like whole roasted Branzino and linguine with clams. Aubergine has an Easter Brunch menu to go that includes leg of lamb and champagne. And Grasing’s is offering both a two-course prix-fixe brunch and special holiday dinner menu beginning at 5pm, as well as dinners to go.


Soif Restaurant is offering a three-course Easter dinner to go with entrée choices of asparagus, green garlic and morel galette or herb-crusted Llano Seco pork leg for $65, while sister restaurant La Posta offers a four-course spring feast to go that includes two antipasti, lamb chops and sausage or lasagnette and Italian sweets for dessert. 

Vim offers Easter brunch on its patio, including asparagus-gruyère tart. Chaminade’s newly-renamed The View restaurant has an Easter brunch from 10am-3pm with a full seafood table and Mediterranean mezza display.
