Sept 6, 2016 – Please join us to celebrate the release of Edible Monterey Bay’s new fall issue at Porters in the Forest in Pebble Beach and Earthbelly in Santa Cruz! We’re also having donate-what-you-can golf benefit, 100% of the proceeds to go to Soberanes Fire relief!
First up is the party at Porters, which is located at the renowned Poppy Hills Golf Course. The party will run from 5–8pm on Tuesday September 27. Enjoy the beautiful deck overlooking the Pacific, drink specials at the cash bar and complimentary appetizers from the inventive chef Chef Johnny De Vivo. Among the surprises he is cooking up are short rib tortellini, grilled octopus and croquettes.
And if you can get out to Poppy Hills Golf Course in time for the 4pm shotgun, join us for a special round of golf benefiting the Community Foundation for Monterey County’s Soberanes Fire Fund. This opportunity is just open to the first 64 people who sign up.
The suggested minimum donation to cover 9 holes of golf, golf cart and range balls is $50, with 100% of proceeds going to people affected by the Soberanes Fire. And once you’re done, you can join the party at Porter’s!
Then on Monday October 3, Earthbelly, Santa Cruz’s newest source for sustainable, local, organic and GMO-free food will host our Santa Cruz release party.
Earthbelly will open its doors for the free party from 6–8pm on October 3rd. Expect delicious small bites from the beautiful new restaurant’s wide-ranging menu, which includes pizzas, salads, soups and sandwiches, all made from organic, GMO-free ingredients, local when possible. Organic wine and beer will be served at a cash bar.
All of these events have a limited capacity, so we encourage you to RVSP as soon as you can! See you there!
